The Alkalinity of Raw Foods

One great thing about raw foods, is that you can
pretty much eat what you want, and you won't gain
weight.  Not true for most diets, especially during
the holiday season!

It is inspiring to read Michael Murrays testimony
about how he lost 20 lbs in 30 days on an "Alkaline
Diet". 

For those who are into raw foods already, we can
relate to this experience, as even healthy people
often have a few pounds to shed! 

This book puts a fascinating spin on the why of the
raw food diet, though, from the perspective of alka-
linity.  Most people don't realize that they are
causing excessive acid build up from "healthly" foods
such as eggs, chicken, and fish! (Not to mention colas
and coffee!)
